To support energy and utility projects, the California Licensed Evaluation Researcher will analyze quantitative and qualitative data, contribute to research design, and produce evidence-based insights, with the flexibility to work remotely or from offices in Reno or Sacramento.
Key responsibilities
Analyze and manage large datasets, performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis
Translate research questions into data collection instruments and support sampling design
Synthesize findings from research activities and contribute to written reports and presentations
Required qualifications
Experience in the energy sector, energy efficiency, or applied research
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS) and Microsoft Excel
Experience developing survey instruments and conducting qualitative research
Master's or PhD in behavioral or social sciences, economics, public policy, or related field (preferred for higher levels)
Experience authoring research reports and managing research projects (mid/senior level)
